BINDER PA-42 B

Binder PA-42 B is self – crosslinking, acrylic copolymer emulsion designed specially for textile printing. Binder PA is very excellent pigment printing binder and can be use also padding dyeing non woven carpet back sizing.

CHARACTERISTIC

Appearance                 : Milky White Emulsion

Solid Content              : 42 %K

Viscosity at 27°C        : 300 cps - 900 cps

Ion                               : Nonion

Solubility                     : Miscible with cool water in all proportion

Stability                       : Stable on long term at room temperature

Storage                        : Do not storage at temperature below 0 ⁰C

PROPERTIES

1. Binder PA-42 B is self – crosslinking acrylic copolymer emulsion and has very excellent  properties for pigment printing binder
2. Binder PA-42 B is very stable for chemically and it gives clear transparent film
3. Elasticity and tensile strength is very good
4. Binder PA-42 B has a good light – resistance, heat – resistance and water – resistance
5. Has good washing and dry – cleaning resistance because of superior adhesion force
6. Binder PA-42 B has a good stability and workability for screen printing or Roller printing, with heat treatment at 135 ~ 150 ⁰C
7. Binder PA-42 B can be cross-linked  polymer by inter molecule or intra molecule reaction
8. Binder PA-42 B can be increased viscosity when addition alkali swell thickener with ammonia, or water soluble starch or cellulose derivatives

APPLICATION

Binder PA-42 B can be used to figment printing, padding dyeing, non-woven, carpet back sizing, etc.

EXAMPLE I  ; Pigment Printing 

Binder PA-42 B has a good compatibility, dispersibility with all water dispersible pigment and it gives an excellent distinct colored product.

• Direct Printing

1.  Recipe of Reducer ( wt  )

a. Water                                                           14 %

b. Urea                                                                        3 %

c. 2 % Hydroxil Ethyl Cellulose Sol               20 %

d. Emulsifier                                                   3 %

e. Mineral Tempure                                         60 %

100 %

Above ingredient a ~ d, mixing with high speed mixer ( Homogenized ) and add slowly e, it will be milky white viscous paste or creamy paste

3. Printing and after treatment

Above printing pastes can be used on Roller or Screen printing machine and pre-dry at 95 ~ 100 ⁰C x 3 ~ 5 minute , Curing 135 ~ 150 ⁰C x 3 ~ 5 minute
